Yourplace-mythyme.co.uk asked me to tell you about my culinary experience, ….so in my own clumsy words…

I have been a chef for over 24 years, gaining my experience in the finest restaurants both in the UK and abroad. Originally I was trained at Westminster catering college in London 24 years ago and served my apprenticeship at The Café Royal in Regent Street London. I then moved onto the Grosevenor House Hotel in Park Lane London, enhancing my skills of cooking the very finest gourmet food. I then spent 8 years specialising in cooking dishes for boardroom level executive functions across the city, ranging from buffet to X course formal dinners.

In latter years I ran one of the premier restaurants on the Canary Islands, developing my skills in many local dishes and having the privilege to work with some of the finest Mediterranean chef’s in recent times. As a professional Chef I hold my city and guilds certificate diplomas along with the food handlers hygiene certificate, public liability insurance, products liability insurance and employers liability insurance.

For extra peace of mind I also hold the new criminals records check certificate of which is now mandatory for people working in the presence of children.

The biggest asset I own?...Passion for food. Without it I don’t believe any chef can ever truly hope to master the culinary arts. This is simply because without the passion for creating sensory experiences, the individual chef looks upon himself as merely producing a dish to a set formulae, rather than a master of his profession who is continually searching for perfection.

I know you’re going to enjoy the range of dishes I have created, and rest assured I have utilised all 24 years of my experience in crafting them
for you….
